Isaac R Richards (1791-1888)

Isaac came to Indiana after 1819 with his new wife, Margaret Snapp.
They were both born in Virginia and settled in Tennesse, Margaret with her parents. They were married in Tennessee in 1819.
They were in Southern Indiana by 1823 where their first child James Madison Richards was born.
The family settled on land just south of Cook's mill.
At the time of his death, Isaac then 97, was reported to be the oldest resident of Floyd County.
The family is buried in Wolfe Cemetery.
